Greg Bailey, APR, Fellow PRSA

Greg Bailey is a public relations practitioner and communications strategist in Nashville, Tennessee with experience in all areas of public relations, including strategic communications planning, public affairs, corporate communications, media relations, crisis communications, and social media. As a founder of Katcher Vaughn and Bailey Public Relations, Bailey led public affairs and PR for clients in the South and Ohio Valley Regions, including the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and Pfizer, Inc, in addition to clients in healthcare, technology, banking and civic organizations. Prior to KVBPR, Greg worked at Nashville-based Atkinson Public Relations.

Bailey served as managing editor of Nashville Business Journal, where the publication was twice awarded the Tennessee Press Association’s General Excellence Award for non-daily newspapers during his tenure. In addition, Bailey served as a reporter, columnist and editor for the now-closed Nashville Banner.

Bailey is a member and past chair of the Public Relations Society of America’s College of Fellows, an organization comprised of more than 350 leading practitioners and educators, each of whom has left a significant footprint on the public relations profession, and a member of PRSA’s Counselors Academy. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Nashville, is a Paul Harris Fellow and served as president in 2013-14. He has also served as a board member for numerous organizations, serving as president of the Public Relations Society of America/Nashville Chapter, including NATAS (National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences), Nashville Sports Council, Oasis Center, Inc., Advisory Board for the Belmont University Department of Public Relations, Belcourt Theatre, Inc., and the Nashville Civic Design Center. He is a graduate of Leadership Middle Tennessee and Leadership Nashville.
